Alexey Titarenko

Alexey Titarnko was born in Russia and received his Master of Fine Arts degree from the Department of Cinematic and Photographic Art in 1983 and since become a well known photographer. His work is featured in many european and american museums and has had many exhibitions throughout his career.
His photos stand out from the usual and always consist of black and white images. What I really like about them is that they look more like oil paintings rather than photos. He always tries to capture the movement within the frame and although they are black and white, you can vaguely see some sepia tones coming through.
I really want to capture images like these, they're so inspirational, but i'm not sure how to do this on my current camera.
More of his series can be found at: http://www.alexeytitarenko.com/index.html
