Camera Styling

I really like the style of this camera and the materials that it uses. I wondered if it was possible to use this style for my camera so I thought I would make a little scale model.

My making skills aren't great but it's just a quick prototype. I terms of the situation it would be used in it's not appropriate and trying to fit the electronics inside the slightly complex shape whould make things more difficult. I also want to keep the styling simple so I feel this is not suited for my camera.
