Project direction

After being asked what my current project direction was in class, i stumbled a few times trying to explain it. This involved saying creative far too many times which i think confused a lot of people so i changed it slightly and here it is:

The direction of my project is focused on restyling computing components to make them look more creative but to also appear as inspiration for those creative’s using the products. The majority of ideas have focused on the aesthetics of the products rather than the function to help create a creative brand image for HP. To stimulate creative ideas I have tapped into my own creative needs and experiences related to computing and being creative. By doing this hopefully other creatives’ will be able to identify with the products.

this was one of my ideas but seems to already exist, damn!!!

HP advert featuring serena williams

I dont really understand this advert and how it promotes HP being creative. to me, it tells me more about the celebrity in the advert. i really like the 80's inspired part in this video though.
theres a few different versions of these all very similar which feature the likes of keanu reeves, jay-z, and various others.

Apple's new keyboard!

i was doing some research and came across a video about apple's new keyboard. it can be found at the following web address:
http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/pda/2009/jan/06/apple-macworld

i think its a really great idea but i dont think it would ever work. it would just take ages to write anything. but in terms of navigation i think it would be a lot more fun and bring a different dimension to the computing experience.
